Section 103 of the Sentence Administration Act 2003 describes the attributes a member of the Prisoners Review Board is to possess. The professional Guidelines provide guidelines for the maintenance of these attributes under a positive and principle-based approach.
The policy of the Board is that members must operate under the Professional Guidelines.
Any change to the Professional Guidelines must be approved by a majority of the Board.
